• Sliding doors slide past each other on a track, with slimmer frames and no stacking space beside the opening. Slim frame sliding doors are AED 1,750 per m².
• Slim profile doors use minimal frames that show more glass and less metal, as sliding or swing doors.
• Telescopic doors suit wide openings with little side space. Manual telescopic doors are AED 2,000 per m² framed and AED 1,350 per m² frameless.
• Automatic doors for entrances, from AED 7,000 for the system plus glass panels.
• Pivot doors and concealed doors are quoted per project.

What is an aluminium door?

A door with an aluminium frame, normally holding glass. The frame carries the weight and sets how slim the door looks.

Are aluminium doors the same as folding or sliding doors?

Not exactly. Aluminium describes the frame material. Folding, sliding, telescopic and automatic describe how the door opens. SmartFix makes aluminium versions of all of them.

Folding or sliding: which should I choose?

Choose folding when you want most of the opening clear. Choose sliding when you want slimmer frames and no stacking space beside the opening. For a wide opening with little side space, telescopic doors are a third option.

How much do aluminium doors cost in Dubai?

SmartFix folding doors are AED 2,500 to 3,500 per panel, slim frame sliding doors AED 1,750 per m², and automatic sliding systems start at AED 7,000 plus glass panels. All prices exclude VAT and include installation. Pivot and concealed doors are quoted per project.

Can I get different glass and finishes?

Yes. Clear, colour, textured and double-glazed glass are available, and standard frame colours are white, black and grey. Special colours such as electroplated finishes cost extra.

Do you supply and install?

Yes. SmartFix designs, supplies and installs, and the site survey, estimate and quote are free.
